O’Connor presents at Green Profit conference in Kingston

During the last five years, O’Connor has developed a reputation as an experienced civil solar designer, providing designs and recommendations for projects ranging from 500 kW to 10 MW.

A McIntosh Perry solar project development expert recently shared his insight and experience while presenting at the prestigious Green Profit Conference and Exhibition in Kingston, ON.

Adam O’Connor was one of four specialized panelists who presented on best practices and building support surrounding renewable energy projects on March 30, 2015 at the Four Points Sheraton.

As a civil engineer and the Manager of the Land Development division for McIntosh Perry, he relied on his broad experience in more than 10 years of construction and civil engineering work to address participants in the conference.

During the last five years, O’Connor has developed a reputation as an experienced civil solar designer, providing designs and recommendations for projects ranging from 500 kW to 10 MW.

In addition, O’Connor has offered input on more than 25 solar farms throughout Ontario, in the capacity as lead designer for conceptual or detailed design works, or as a peer review engineer on behalf of the developer. His scope of work also sees him involved in both rehabilitation of solar farms and the expansion of existing sites.

Staff and personnel representing 36 organizations attended the one-day annual Green Profit event, to gain valuable insight from O’Connor and the full program featuring six panel sessions and two keynote presentations.

Green Profit looks at ways to generate prosperity with renewable energy. The conference is organized and hosted by SWITCH, a network of businesses, research and educational institutions, public sector participants, and community-minded volunteers who are dedicated to making southeastern Ontario a leading centre for sustainable energy. http://www.switchontario.ca/

The event allows registrants to get inside information on the latest sustainable energy innovations and best practice; successful green business case studies; solutions to challenges presented by sustainable energy policy changes, as well as green economy leaders and decision makers.
